考试当天你将会碰到如下的答卷提示：
Directions：In Part A， you will hear short conversations between two people. After each conversation， you will hear a question about the conversation. The conversations and questions will not be repeated. After hear a question， read the four possible answers in your test book and choose the best answer. Then， on your answer sheet， find the number of the question and fill in the space that corresponds1 to the letter of the answer you have chosen.
1.基本方案
你所听到的directions叫你先听问题再读选项然后决定选那个选项。对有的人来讲这没问题，但大多数人发现先读选项对做题非常有用。这一方法大家称之为逆向搜索法。下面是逆向搜索法的具体步骤：
①打开磁带听Direction，在这一时间里，考试中心不叫你看选项。
②当Direction叫你turn the page时，迅速看题目的四个选项。你可能只有1至2秒的时间，但尽可能看那些在4个选项中重复出现的词，诸如名字，地址等等。这将在你听到这类词的时候对你有所帮助。你甚至可能通过这类反复出现的名词和动词猜出对话的主题。
③当对话开始的时候，立即停止看题，集中精神听题。
④当问题问完将来，再读一边四个选项，选出你的答案。假如你没办法立刻做出答案，尽可能排除一些选项，然后从剩下的选项中选一个。
⑤迅速仔细的涂答卷纸。立刻回到第2步，看下一题的四个选项。
逆向搜索法有哪些好处：
①你能得到关于对话内容的线索。
②你能运用你的阅读能力和总结能力来加大你的听力能力。
③当你猜到一道题目的主题的时候，你会少一些紧张和焦虑，这将帮你关注你所需要听到的信息。
2.考试知识点
在这一部分，你将第一听到两个人的对话，然后是一个问题，问题一般是关于第2个说话人的comment的。下面是这一部分常考的考试知识点。有时一道题中有不止一个的考试知识点。词语纯粹的单词量测试，但一般不是难词（大学四级或以下单词）。譬如题干中听到形容词terrific，那样包括terrific的近义词excellent或者very good的选项就是正确答案。也就是说，不只要认识关键字也要了解它常见的近义词。不过，这种题大多很容易。由于这类词语都非常容易见到。?

W： Why are you leaving so early？ The movie doesn't start till seven.
M： I don't want to be at the traffic there. It's a nightmare2 on the expressway during rush hour.
Q： What does the man mean？
（A） He wants to go early to avoid a traffic jam.
（B） He wants to leave the theater before the movie is over.
（C） He doesn't know the way to the theater.
（D） He doesn't usually get up at 7：00.
答案是A.这里整个对话都在讲时间问题，关键字是traffic（交通）。其实，即便你不认识或者不十分确定它的意思，你也可以通过don't want to和avoid之间的同义转换选出正确的答案
